Record Intelligence FAQs
Everything you need to know about CaseReview®, our records intelligence platform, full-service indexing, and integrated medical-legal consultation.
Platform & Core Features
CaseReview is MINDSET's records intelligence platform that transforms overwhelming volumes of medical, legal, and discovery records into structured, searchable, and summarized case files. Every evidentiary event is identified, categorized, chronologically aligned, and linked directly back to its source document, so your legal team can stop hunting for facts and start building strategy.
CaseReview is built for solo practitioners to large litigation firms alike, including paralegals, litigation support directors, managing partners, expert consultants, and insurance defense and corporate counsel. If your cases involve complex medical records, depositions, imaging reports, or large discovery sets, CaseReview was built for you.
CaseReview supports medical records, legal documents, imaging reports, depositions, and virtually any other case material. Files are securely uploaded to your workspace, where they are OCR'd, indexed, and made fully searchable.
Yes. Every evidentiary event identified in CaseReview links directly to the specific page in its original source document. There's no need to go hunting through hundreds of pages to verify a fact, the reference is always one click away.
Part of the indexing process includes automatic de-duplication, so your case file reflects a clean, non-redundant record set. This is especially valuable in cases involving records from multiple providers or production sets.
Full Service Indexing
With the Full Service option, MINDSET's team handles the entire records workflow on your behalf—organizing, OCR'ing, indexing, and linking all documents into your secure CaseReview workspace. When you log in, your case file is already structured and ready for immediate use. You skip the setup and go straight to strategy.
If your team is stretched thin, working through a high-volume case, or dealing with a particularly complex record set, Full Service removes the operational burden entirely. Self-service is a great fit for teams that want hands-on control and have the capacity to manage indexing themselves.
MINDSET's team reviews all uploaded documents, applies OCR to any non-searchable files, identifies legally relevant facts and events, categorizes and chronologically aligns them, removes duplicates, and links each event to its source page, producing a complete, expert-vetted case record.

Month-to-month subscribers can access the $75/hr rate for the first 3 months by prepaying a 3-month subscription.
No. CaseReview pricing is transparent and predictable. Your subscription covers your users and storage, and Full Service work is billed at the flat hourly rates listed above.
Security & Record Retrieval
Yes. CaseReview is a secure, cloud-based platform designed for the sensitivity of legal and medical records. The system is built to support HIPAA-compliant handling of protected health information, and all files are stored in your firm's private, access-controlled workspace.
Yes. Through the broader MINDSET platform, record retrieval is available at $50 per provider or entity. This eliminates reliance on unpredictable third-party vendor fees and gives your firm a single, unified workflow from retrieval through indexing to review.
Traditional retrieval vendors fetch and deliver raw PDFs—the work of organizing and reviewing those records still falls on your team. CaseReview retrieves the records and then structures, indexes, and links them into a review-ready case file. It's the entire records lifecycle.
Consultation & ROI
Firms using CaseReview report saving 50–70% of the time previously spent on records review and preparation. That translates directly into faster demand packages and more cases moving at higher velocity.
They are designed to work together. The structured, indexed case file becomes a direct input for Case Consultation. Rather than asking experts to wade through unorganized records, they receive a clean, chronologically organized event record, making their clinical evaluation faster and more precise.
